In this video review, I take a look at a pair of sun shirts from Outdoor Research, the Wayward II and the Astroman. Both are super light, very functional, and look great. The Wayward has awesome styling while the Astroman feels amazing. Check them out!
I received the shirts from Outdoor Research for review, but don’t worry, you can’t buy my…

In this video review, I take a look at the OR Goldrush Jeans. I’m normally a jean hater but these are incredible. They are so comfortable and the front pockets are actually usable. Cordura cotton and some synthetic materials give these jeans a great look and the perfect amount of stretch. Color me impressed.
I received the jeans from Outdoor Research for review, but don’t worry,…

In this video review, I take a look at the OR Tangent Shirt. The Tangent is a great all around button down that is perfect for a trip. You can wear it in the boulder field or out to dinner! A half cotton half poly blend makes it super soft but also quick to dry. I’m really loving this versatile piece. It’s so soft and comfy!
I received the shirt from Outdoor Research for review, but…

In this video review, I take a look at a trio of technical tee shirts. The Ignitor is the most comfortable and similar to a cotton shirt. The Echo is the lightest of the bunch and feels like no shirt at all. The Gauge is the highest performing and has magic fabric that dries and breathes exceptionally well. One for every occasion!

In this video review, I take a look at the Outdoor Research Ascendant Hoody. This softshell is super comfortable and perfect for the shoulder seasons. The Pertex shell will shed a light rain or some snow flurries but it still breathes during high output activities. The hoody style is simple and lightweight, but still extremely functional.
I received the hoody from Outdoor Researc…

In 2017, we spent Thanksgiving week down in Chattanooga to boulder at Stone Fort and Rocktown. This is the second year in a row we have done this and it was an amazing trip. The conditions were perfect, the rock was pristine, and I climbed my dream boulder problem. So…

In this video review, I take a look at the Outdoor Research Helium II Jacket. This ultra lightweight piece is built for flash storm protection. There is no excuse not to take this jacket if their is a chance of rain because it packs down so small! The features are minimal but the beauty lies in the streamlined design. You can squeeze this thing in the smallest of places for that iffy…

In this video, I review the Metolius Alpine PAS. The PAS stands for “Personal Anchor System”. This versatile and light weight piece is basically a chain link of webbing. It’s full strength from any point and it’s quite useful when cleaning anchors on a single pitch route, extending a rappel, or any multi-pitch environment.
I received the PAS from Verde Brand Communications and…
